Acute Myeloid Leukaemia

My husband had a small business in Uttar Pradesh (India). At the age of 41 years, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Physicians at our native place advised us to visit Mumbai for further treatment. With a lot of hopes, we visited Mumbai. After all investigations, hemato oncologist explained about his condition. The type of cancer was Acute myeloid leukemia with monosomy. He said this is a very serious condition as there is a high risk of internal bleeding at any time. Helplessly he asked us to return back to home. We could not dare to return because he might lose his life anytime during the journey. We decided to give him symptomatic treatment only. 

A medical staff of the same clinic asked us to visit Rasayu Cancer Clinic, Pune. His condition was very critical. He was having fever and needed a transfusion of platelets on alternate days. He had bleeding from his nose frequently. He had developed a secondary fungal infection in his lungs due to decreased immunity. He also had developed hydrocele. He visited Rasayu Cancer Clinic in Aug 2017. Considering his critical condition Dr. Bendale advised us to admit him in a hospital for supportive management of platelet transfusion. 

We immediately started Rasayana therapy. He started responding to Rasayana therapy. For the next 3 weeks, he did not need a platelet or blood transfusion. Sometimes despite low platelet count (Less than 1000) we did not note bleeding from any site. The number of blasts cells also reduced significantly. This was the effect of Rasayana therapy. He fought like a lion until the end. He breathed his last in Dec 2017. He was given assurance of only 2-3 days; he lived for 21 weeks thereafter. I reckon that his confidence was raised by multiple folds due to the symptomatic relief he got from Rasayana therapy. That is the reason why he survived exceptionally longer even when experts had given up.
